Yes, it's that good!
Located on the southern end of Andros Island, Andros South has an unlimited supply of hard bottom, wadable flats to show you. Very little fishing pressure on the southern end of Andros allows for excellent bonefishing. Other species such as tarpon and permit are present but considered bonuses. The bonefish is king here!
Comfortable accommadations, great food, excellent service and superb fishing make Andros South the perfect fly fishing destination. The guides at Andros South are the best in the business. Do you like casting to tailing bones? No problem. Do you enjoy casting to large schools of hungry bones? They can make it happen. Endless white sand flats, pole through mangrove creeks, hike to hidden inland lakes, discover remote cays? It's all there at Andros South.
Our January, 2008 trip was full of bonefish averaging 5 to 7 pounds. We even hooked into a 14 pounder that never slowed down. He came "unbottoned" after ripping off 200+ yards of backing. Exciting stuff to say the least. Several large baracuda were taken on the fly and a couple of good size lemon sharks ate flies as well.
The dates are March 15th (Tuesday) to March 19th (Saturday), 2011. If you are interested in joining us on this fabulous trip please feel free to call us for more details. 336-723-9070. 3 SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE.
